As the name suggests these are pieces of crystal that have not been polished and smoothed. They can contain sharp edges and points, making them less tactile than a tumbled stone. However, they are often thought to have a pure, strong energy as they have not been shaped. Some crystals are much easier to find in their rough form than as a tumbled stone.
